New year is fast approaching and while I am still not in school, I decided to do a little update on my blog. The latest Wordpress version 2.7 has some really neat features such as Gear Status. You can also upload/insert media files directly without using any other plugins, which I think is pretty cool!

It seems that the interface was totally overhauled as well. The dashboard development was quite successful and gives a very intuitive visual design. The collapsible sidebar is really nicely done, it’s neat, tidy and not convoluted, which is essential for bloggers.

This time around, I’ve decided to pick Michael Tyson’s theme simply because it has the ‘clean’ and minimalist look that I wanted and at the same time, uses some light grunge texture to give it a little more ‘feeling.’

There are more things to discover and I am looking forward to dig further into this and see if I can spot any bug!
